Wow. !100 years huh? I've actually only seen bits and piece's of the film *shot*, but the History has always fascinated me. It always makes me somewhat sad to know that it is slowly deteriorating...

yeah i agree i also find it really sad, i know that a company called RSM TITANIC INC recovered alot of items from the ship and have it on display in the titanic exabition
i also learned that one of the surious from the icywater was one of the crew men i'm still doing more research on it's history .
but i've always wondered how nice it would be to have a new titanic built

I think Titanic has a lot of connections of with hometown. I heard that some parts were built here~
As for the film, I like it but for some reason it doesn't make me cry. I usually cry over anything which is suppose to be sad, but I can't cry over Titanic.

@Chichiri - I remember reading that somewhere.. More than a little weird, right? O.o I think there was another sister ship too.. The Olympic, but it survived till the1930's when it was scrapped..

Mhhhm... I think it was in an accident or something with another boat, so either the front or back side was severely damaged, and the maiden voyage or whatever for the Titanic was postponed for... a month (I think?) because of it.... If I remember correctly. :3

Titanic... TWO? What the heck? I can't even begin to imagine what THAT might be about... not to mention that I found the Original quite... cheesy, but if its sequel is THAT bad... O.o

If you think thats bad, check out the animated titanic movies... terrible, and downright insulting to the actual disaster.

The reason it's called Titanic 2 is because a similar ship was named Titanic 2. So its not a sequel. But guess what happens to the ship? "sarcasm"

In one of the cartoons... Evil sharks plot with a whaling company to sink the Titanic so an anti whaling activist will die on board. If thats not bad enuff... NO ONE DIED ON THE TITANIC in this film, they were all rescued by a giant octopus...

Pfft... seriously? Evil sharks, a whaling company and a giant octopus? I feel bad for any kids who may have grown up disilusioned by something as odd/stupid as that. -.-'
