well thought i'd do a fanfic on this but i'm starting from where they all entered genbu

chapter 1

Confession at the bar

Nuriko sneaks up behind Tamahome knocking him over with one hit.

Nuriko: I barely touched you and.................

Tamahome: what’s barely to you is a full blown hit

Nuriko: is there something bothering you, Miaka is worried about you after you walked off like that, where very close to getting the shentsopao, but if you’re not careful somebody will steel Miaka away

Tamahome: you really think so, like who?

Tamahome drinks his beer

Nuriko: well for example me

Tamahome spits his drink out almost chocking

Not far Miaka listens on the conversation

Miaka: I know Nuriko wanted me to stay upstairs but it only made me more curious

Tamahome laughs at Nuriko

Tamahome: you huh? I thought you loved Hotohori (laughs more)

Nuriko: that was my female self, funny isn't it how a haircut can make you feel like a totally different person! Today I was willing to risk my life for Miaka that was enough to make me wonder what kind of man I could be and the first time it dawned on me that as a man I probably always loved Miaka

Miaka: Nuriko that must have been the thing you won't tell me

(Flash back)

Nuriko: you wanna know

Miaka: Yeah!

Nuriko: ah but I can't say

(End of flash back)

Miaka: Nuriko (goes back upstairs in case anyone catches her)

Next day

Nuriko: ok I’ll go to Black Mountain I want you and Miaka to search for the others

Tamahome: no I’ll go you stay with Miaka (gets on a horse)

Miaka: be careful Tamahome

Tamahome: don't worry about me I’ll be fine I promise (goes off to Black Mountain)

Nuriko: honestly that man is stubborn let’s go and do as he said Miaka

Miaka: ok (turns to watch Tamahome go further away into the mountains

Chapter 2

goodbye my first love

Miaka: hey Nuriko is it me or is Tamahome acting weird why would he just go off like that

Nuriko: yeah I tried to talk to him last night but he won't tell me all we can do is just wait till he's ready to spit it out right

(Miaka flash back)

Nuriko: as a man I probably always loved Miaka (to Tamahome)

(End of flash back)

Nuriko: hey Miaka are you listening

Miaka: uh what, yeah I heard I was just thinking that’s all

At black mountain

Tamahome: finally made it. I wonder was it true what Yui said about me being a character in a book, never mind I can't let it get to me I have a job to do.

Tamahome goes over to the rock

Tamahome: looks like is a job for Nuriko I better head back

Tamahome turns around to face Ashitare

Ashitare: must kill suzaku warrior

Tamahome: you must be one of them a seiryu warrior. Just so you know I won't go easy on you

Tamahome and Ashitare start their fight

Back in the market

Miaka: Nuriko we have to go to Black Mountain now something doesn't feel right

Nuriko: I agree I felt something weird

At Black Mountain Ashitare stabs Tamahome in the chest with his claws

Tamahome: not good............

Tamahome manages to free himself from Ashitare and punches him real hard making Ashitare lose his head.

Tamahome: how am I going..... To marry Miaka now......... (Falls to the ground imagining himself being married to Miaka)

Nuriko and Miaka run up to Tamahome, Nuriko holds Tamahome in his arms

Miaka: NOOO TAMAHOME YOU HAVE TO HANG IN THERE

Tamahome: sorry Miaka.... I tried to kill that thing..... But only got myself..... Badly hurt

Miaka: DON'T TALK MUCH TAMAHOME PLEASE HANG IN THERE TILL MITSKAKE GETS HERE

Nuriko: she's right try and not move much either

Miaka: (gets up) I'll start a fire wait here (runs to get some wood)

Tamahome: heh, looks like you can steel........... Miaka away from me now Nuriko

Nuriko: What are you saying!!!! You’re not leaving us now Tamahome, don't you see Miaka's heart is breaking seeing you like this!!!

Miaka comes back making a fire,

Tamahome: Nuriko please....... take care of Miaka for me

Nuriko: TAMAHOME PLEASE DON'T TALK TOO MUCH

Miaka: Nuriko watch Tamahome I’m going to see if I can find Mitsukake (starts to walk off best she can in the snow)

Nuriko sits holding Tamahome, also sensing that he just died in his arms

Nuriko: Tamahome, Tama....... (Starts to cry)

Miaka stops walking and freezes in one spot

Miaka: it has to be a joke right... he was just talking and smiling to us, you saw him right Nuriko!

Nuriko: (continues to cry) I’m sorry Miaka

Miaka: This.. Can’t be happening (falls to the snow) Tamahome!!!!!!!!!!! (Crawls over to Nuriko and looks over Tamahome) PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES TAMAHOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Starts crying

As all the other Suzaku Warriors make to the mountian Miaka refuses to move from the tree crying her heart out.

Chichiri takes his mask off going ocver to Nuriko

Chichiri: where too late airn't we

Nuriko holds back on crying and nods his head not able to talk with the shock

Mitsukake goes over kneeling in the snow and heals Tamahomes wounds

Mitsukake: This is all i can do for Tamahome at least this way we can send him off in one piece

Tasuki starts laughing

Tasuki: What a joke. Tama must be faking it, why would he just up and die like that when he has Miaka to live for

Everyone remains sliant

Tasuki: (Shakes Tammahome) COME ON MAN OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!, MIAKA, YOU HAVE TO THINK ABOUT MIAKA'S FEELINGS

Nuriko: WILL YOU JUST STOP IT TASUKI, WE'VE LOST TAMA

Nuriko hold Tasuki back while crying

Tasuki: HOW COULD YOU TAMA, WHY, WHY!!!!!!

Tasuki starts crying

Chiriko: shouldn't we see to Miaka so she can say her last good byes to Tamahome

Chirko wipes tears from his eyes

Nuriko: I guess i'll go and get her

Nuriko wipes his tears and goes off to get Miaka. Miaka is still sitting by the tree. still not wanting to move, all she wanted was to just freeze to death so she could be with Tamahome again. Nuriko goes up to Miaka and brings her into a hug

Nuriko: Am sorry Miaka. but we have to send Tamahome off now

Miaka: No

Nuriko: Eh!!

Miaka: I want to join Tamahome first

Nuriko: DON'T SAY THAT!!!!

Miaka: Nuriko

Nuriko: look i know it's hard to lose some you love but i think Tamahome would really like to see you smile and to continue your life, it took me awhile to move on after loseing Kourin and Byakuren

Miaka: Byakuren?

Nuriko: she was my rivel and she died saving me her last words to me was i love you. but i saw her more like a sister she just reminded me of my little sister kourin. they were also the same age a year younger then me.

Miaka: Nuriko i never knew you had such a rough past

Nuriko: Actually Byakuren died on this same mountian

Nuriko's eyes fill with tears again but he wipes his tears away

Nuriko: away thats why you have to keep living Miaka, so will you say your last good byes before we go into the cave

Miaka nods her head but cries in Nuyriko's arms at the same time
