Dont worry his voice gets better later on in the series when you see him again as Crispin Freeman voices him, and you are right about Lina, the VA is Lisa Orditz

Hmmm... From what I have seen so far, it is bout a group of adventurers who go out on, well, adventures. It starts off light and fun mainly following Lina who is the most selfish "Hero" you can think of and she aquires more party members as the gam.... I mean series progresses. A little way through the series an actual story emerges and it gradually gets darker as the series comes to a close. Secret would be able to tell you a lot more about it than me though.

yeah slayers has alot of it's comady and it's dark moments
theres fives series all together along with one movie and some ovas only based around lina
i usually just stick to the five seasons as more entaining with gourry around and the others.
but all four characters journy for differnt reasons
lina: main character is out for tresure
Gourry: he's just some guy who wants to protect lina O.o
Zelgadis: he's out to find a cure to turn him back into a humen
Amelia: she just wants to speard around truth and justice
it's defo a very random anime through you'd get alot of laughs out of it

Hmmm If I had to pick a fav season I would say Next aka season 2. Plus It was the first season I was accutly introduced to. Lol and thats all thanks to Break.

It is also the season where Xellos first shows up so you know it has to be good. It is funny how Xellos and Break are such similar characters and they have the same voice actor too ^.^
