Did anyone go to the midnight premiere? It was an5qp35bq35bq035bq350bq amazing!! <333
I'm not going to lie, I cried several times. ;A; I'm not gonna spoil anything though.
The auditorium we were in kept having a bunch of technical difficulties and shut down several times. One guy threw his bucket of popcorn at the screen. It was terrifying.

Spoiler:
I’m just going to ramble on now.
First I'll start off with something that really made me angry: Why did they cut off Fred’s death? Why did they have to do that?
I know other characters died, but why did they have to cut off Fred’s last minutes of living? It would’ve created more impact, and his death reflects his personality in a way (like when he makes a joke about Percy). Not to mention, so many people love Fred. I freaking sobbed my heart out when the Weasley’s cried over Fred, and I cried when Fred and George were all like, “You alright Freddie?” and nudging each other and stuff. Everything about Fred and George made me cry.
Anyway... Neville Longbottom was probably the highlight of the film for me, he was heroic, comical and epic. One of my favourite scenes was when he was on the bridge and the Death Eaters couldn't get passed because of the spell and he was like, "You and whose army?!" Ahaha, got to love Neville. <3
I’m so glad that they made Luna/Neville happen in the film. THEY ARE PERFECT.
Snape’s death, omg. Cried. I could not control my tears when Snape started crying and hugging Lily in his memories, that was the bit that got me most out of Snape’s death/memories.
My respect levels for the Malfoy’s have gone up +++. I really liked it when they showed the Malfoy’s walking away because it shows how much they cared about keeping Draco save, they didn't care about anything else, just Draco. And Narcissa was so brave lying about Harry being dead.
Can I just mention, when Draco walked over to the Death Eater's and awkwardly hugged Voldemort, I lol'd so much.
Am I the only person that actually likes Voldemort’s character, well… Tom Riddle’s character? I think he’s one of the most interesting characters in the series. Omg when he died, a little kid behind me was like, “Bye bye Voldy Baldy.” LMFAO. Ruin the moment, goshhhhh.
THE RON/HERMIONE KISS THO. ma heart squealed. <3 I really loved all the Ron/Hermione scenes. "Not my girlfriend you numpties!"
The ending was perfect, well when they played that soundtrack - the soundtrack that I wanted for the ending, I just burst into tears. I really wished that at the end there was a voiceover and then it would say, “all was well” at the end. That would’ve been the most perfect ending ever.

@Oz My friend went the midnight premiere in this area. They had technical difficulties, too. Only instead of popcorn being thrown, some cosplayers started a Wizard's dulex3

Technical difficulties, huh? Sounds like that would have been annoying .. but I bet it would have been worth waiting through... I'm going to go see HP7 pt 2 tonight with a bunch of my friends xP

I watched HP 7 pt2 yesterday and..... am I the only one who thought that Snape as a kid looked like Gil when he was little?

@ Gizele12 - I actually thought that too -.-
So.. I saw it last night, and I have to admit, it is my new favorite movie.. :3 I mean, there was a lot they could have added, and as my friends and I pretty much analyzed the whole thing afterwards, we noted that they cut a lot of chapters, and could have expanded a bit on things (and some things sort of broke with the continuity of the movies, and only made sense if you read the books) ... but it was pretty good all the same.
Ok, I guess pretty good doesn't quite cut it. It was REALLY good. xP

I had to avoid this topic like a plege when it premiered because I wouldn't have been able to see it until I got off work (despite reading the books and knowing what happens).
But now that I've seen it I can ramble~
Spoiler:
I will admit my only disappointments in this movie were the lack of Charlie (seriously where the **** was he? We got Bill but no Charlie?...weird, that or I missed him), and of course the lack of screen time for the character deaths of Fred, Lupin and Tonks. They were some of my favourite characters, and I would have liked to have seen their final moments for accurately.
However those were really my only problem with it. Everything else was much more accurate to the book and done very well.
Neville was a total boss (Luna/Neville happening was epic), the Malfoy family also gained some respect from me (especially Narcissa). Molly...oh god I loved Molly in her glory moment (though I was expecting her to shout "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH!" rather then that angry growl lol).
All the Ron/Hermione moments made me squee~ <3 Though I felt the Harry/Ginny moments were kinda rushed (actually they seemed that way through a alot of the movies). But I was still happy.
SSnapes whole flashback tot he past thing....CRIED. SO BADLY. ;A; I was kinda temporarly blinded by how fuckin bright little!lily's hair was though. xD; However the scene where Snape is hugging Lily's dead body...that made my heart break in two. T_________T
Albus's little return to the screen was also saddening. I did love him dearly despite how he never told Harry anything (that sort of pissed me off, but I could say the same about various things Snape did and yet I still love him).
The epilouge was epic~ Though Ron, Hermione and Harry looked like they hardly aged at all over 19 years. XD Ginny and Draco were the only ones who looked older in that scene. xD;
The kids were adorable and as the group was waving goodbye to their kids I was overcome by nothing but fluff and sadness and pride. A beautiful way to end it all. ;A; <3

^ I had to do the same too on a different forum. XD
Spoiler:
I totally agree about Fred, Lupin and Tonks. The films didn't do their deaths' justice! I was furious how little screen time they had. Especially Fred. *shotbiased* But I did read somewhere that... Apparently they had to cut out Fred's death because it was too upsetting. So hopefully it will be in the Deleted Scenes on the DVD. Even though I know I'll bawl my eyes out, I really want to see it...
I was also annoyed with the Aberforth and Dumbledore storyline. They made Dumbledore look like the bad guy without explaining his story. :/

So, I finally got around to watching the last movie the other day...
Pretty great. I do have a couple of gripes, e.g. the comedy scenes felt kinda out of place due to how dark the movie was overall, but even so, I really enjoyed it.

My friend sent me this and I thought I would share the amazing awkwardness of Voldemort's EXTENDED hug:
