got some very bad news for all the fushigi yugi fans
Chiriko's japanese voice actor Kawakami Tomoko died on the 9th or may this year, i just found out on facebook

I remember watching the anime. It was pretty, and was one of the first anime I was exposed to so I was reasonably impressed. I can't imagine watching it today, though. The "Tamahome!" "Miaka!" "TAMAHOME!" "MIAKA!" scenes were really annoying. XD My favorite characters were Tasuki and Amiboshi/Suboshi.
