Chapter 63

Okay, this chapter MADE MY DAY and was worth every millisecond of wait.

lmao, I was thinking about how Lottie had like, almost killed Leo way back when too.
And I was SO thankful for the clearing up about the "Lacie" thing.
I was like, "GENIUS!"

And... the wish! omg.
I was just ranting about when she was gonna tell us. and she did.
I'm so amazed and the shock! I can't even form the right words right now.

This is a BIG turn for the story. HUGE.
It's only gonna get more and more intense from here.

For some reason I always get exhuberant whenever a new chapter comes out... I really liked this one, and I'm glad that Leo's past was pretty much explained this time. I feel so bad for him though - this whole time he's been under the impression that it's him that's crazy, and something's wrong with him, while truth was something different altogether... yet everything in his life seemed to prove his beleifs. I'm really anxious to see how the story continues from here on out (aren't we all?)... and then of course, Leo is too pretty -.- gorgeous really. I think he has to be at least one of the prettiest manga guy's I've ever seen. Not that's bad ^^

This chapter explained a lot!

So, the Baskervilles were trying to kill the Will so they could restore de Abyss to its previous self… And Break not only promised he would help Alyss, he also promised he would save Alice! Then (correct me if I’m wrong), in order to fulfill his promise, Break will now be Leo’s direct enemy.

If what Leo says is true, then the Baskervilles and Glen himself were actually pretty good-intentioned. That explains how Jack could be friends with Glen.) Then, at some point, he must have realized Glen’s plan involved the death of innocent people and I suppose that was when he decided to fight Glen and stop the tragedy.

Curious thing is Leo and Oz are (re)playing their roles as Glen and Jack perfectly. Oz-Jack won’t let Leo-Glen split the blood of innocents, even if he is actually pretty good-intentioned. But it turned out Jack couldn’t PREVENT the spilling of blood… Will Oz be more efficient than Jack?

Its like what everyone is saying,
if the AByss used to be a wonderful place and the Baskervilles are trying to restore that, doesn't that make them good?? i mean surely if the Abyss returned to how it was then there wouldn't be things like Chain's killing people...

Its so ironic that whatever Pandora have been doing to prevent the return of Glen, it seems to have only sped up the process XD
I kinda feel sorry for Leo...hes caught up in the middle of this, and really hasn;t had a very good life. Eliot was like his saviour, the Leo of chapters 27-58 seems so different to the other Leo's (before he met Elly, and after Elly's death) that its obvious he was a very big part of his life. I mean from his flashback (lol character origin flashback) it was kind of hinted that he didn't have many friends, so obviously Eliot meant a lot too him.
And its kind of Pandora's fault in some ways that a lot of this happened.

I actually feel that in some of the most recent chapters the focus of the story is being moved from our original trio to Oz and Leo, who, in a way are reinacting the events of 100 years ago,
It's like Precious Hair - San said, will Oz be more effective than Jack?? its kinda hard to guess, i mean from what we've seen Leo's personality is completely different from Glen's, although Oz and Jack's seem to be pretty similar.

Although this chapter answered many questions (Like Alyss' wish and the TRUE intention of the Baskervilles) it also raised a lot.

I seriously can't wait to see what happens next!!

Me and my sister kinda speculated about what Leo said at the end of the Chapter....
Is he going to try and drag Oz into the Abyss?

They're trying to restore it by causing a massacre.

The question is, do you compromise your principles and join with them?

I wouldn't join the Baskervilles cos I don't like how they do stuff, but the blame can't be placed entirely on them really.
Pandora is just sugar coated i recon ;D

I'd assume the blame comes from either Glen or Jack. Glen for giving the Baskerville their orders, or Jack for possibly maybe being the cause of why the Abyss is all messed up.

As for Pandora, considering they seemed to have been formed after the events at Sablier, I imagine they can't exactly be blamed for that. I doubt Oz, Gil and Alice are going to outright oppose Pandora in the future, considering they still have more mutual goals- finding out about what happened, opposing the whole massacre thing- but I can see them getting caught between rising conflict between Pandora and the Baskervilles.

It's hard to know anything for sure with Pandora Hearts ¬.¬

But there is definatly rising tension between the Baskervilles and Pandora. I think each is willing to do whatever to get what they want.

And I agree on that point - for both sides I feel as if it's not the means that matter anymore (if that ever mattered at all), rather than the outcome.
